The brand new Fortnite refer a friend program is now live in-game and gives players the opportunity to get their hands on a brand new skin and accompanying cosmetics.

Here's everything you need to know about the new refer a friend program, including how you can sign up to complete new challenges and earn the exclusive Rainbow Racer outfit.

What Is Fortnite Refer A Friend?

The Fortnite Refer A Friend program began on October 25th and will run until November 14th, during this time players will be able to participate in special challenges with a friend to earn exclusive in-game rewards.

According to the official Epic Games website, players will be able to add up to 5 friends from Fortnite on the refer a friend program website who have played less than 120 minutes of a core Fortnite Battle Royale game mode in the last 30 days.

You and your friend will then be able to complete in-game tasks together to earn exclusive rewards. But first, you'll need to sign up, details of which can be found below.

How To Sign Up For Fortnite Refer A Friend

Signing up for the Fortnite refer a friend program is simple, first you'll need to head to 'www.referafriend.fortnite.com' and select the 'Log In' button at the top right of your browser.

Players can then log in using the account that they play Fortnite on. For example, if you play Fortnite on a PlayStation, you'll need to log in with your PlayStation Network details.

After you've done that, you'll be taken to a page with all of the tasks and rewards, the first being to create a connection with a Fortnite friend. You'll then be able to jump into Fortnite and complete the tasks, details of all of the tasks and rewards can be found below.

Challenges & How To Get Rainbow Racer For Free

For players to unlock the new Rainbow Racer outfit and her accompanying cosmetic items, players must sign in to the Epic Games website (as detailed above), then complete the following challenges:

• Task 1 - Create a connection
  • Reward = Loading Screen
• Task 2 - Play 1 game in Fortnite with a referee
  • Reward = Wrap
• Task 3 - Place top 10, 3 times with your referee
  • Reward = Glider
• Task 4 - Eliminate 10 opponents with your referee
  • Reward = Pickaxe
• Task 5 - Gain plus 60 levels on your own and wait for your referee to gain plus 60 levels too
  • Reward = Outfit
