Fortnite's latest patch introduces a Tommy gun to go along with hardboiled detective skins.
Fortnite's latest update has rolled out a 1920s era drum gun and hardboiled detective skins that may support the time travel theory doing the rounds after the Blast Off event tore the sky a new one.
The crack in the sky has been growing, with patches across the map beginning to suffer the same fate. Dataminers have already dug up Wild West-themed items, so it may be possible that we'll see different era-themed areas across the map. Or perhaps the two aren't related at all.
The drum gun was teased ahead of the update and has a "high capacity drum magazine and quick rate of fire."
According to the Content Update the gun has the "stopping power of a rifle and the fire rate of an SMG."
The gun is available in Uncommon and Rare variants, has a 50 round capacity, and can be found in floor loot, chests, and Vending Machines.
