Fortnite's 12.60 patch is a big one, and although not officially unveiled, data miners have discovered some new skins coming the game's way.
Fortnite's 12.60 patch is here and it's a big one — as it should be, since it's the first patch the game has had for three weeks. There was a time when Fortnite would get updated weekly. It has since changed to every two weeks, but as for right now, Epic has opted to roll out two patches in two weeks.
Chances are next week's update will be a small one, especially when compared to this. It has brought with it weapon balances, new overtime challenges, and even moved along the doomsday device. Under the surface, it would appear that a lot of new skins and other cosmetic items are coming Fortnite's way. They're just hidden within Fortnite's code.
Lucky for its players, data miners have been hard at work uncovering what's to come cosmetically over the next few days and weeks. It seems as if Team Shadow will be getting a new member any day now. The Renegade Shadow skin, along with a few alternative outfits, was a hidden part of the 12.60 update. The Shimmer Specialist skin is also coming soon, in-keeping with the ongoing futuristic theme of Chapter 2.
The Slurp Jonesy and Slurp Bandolette skins will soon be getting extra style options. Anyone who has managed to get over how creepy they look and uses them regularly will be able to switch up their look. There will also be new styles added for Recon Expert, Siren, and Wolf. Plus, a new look for the Bachii skin, which might be the only skin more terrifying than the Slurp Legends series.
On top of the new skins and alternate looks, data miners have also discovered four new back blings, three new wraps, a new pickaxe, and a new glider. Players will need to keep their eyes peeled on the Fortnite store for all of the above as chances are all of it will be arriving very soon. One thing's for sure, Epic is giving players plenty to look forward to during what is the second season in a row to get a hefty extension.
