Doctor Slone turned off building in Fortnite, and if we want to get it back, we need to help The Seven by completing the Rebuilding and Resistance Quests. A large portion of these challenges require players to establish Device Uplinks at various locations around the island, so let's go over exactly how and where to do that.

Fortnite Establish Device Uplink: What Is A Device Uplink?
Device Uplinks are critical to the success of The Seven. If we want a chance in this war, we need to establish Device Uplinks across the island at important sites.
Fortnite Device Uplinks look like small blue disks on the ground that project an image of what appears to be a Wi-Fi symbol. To establish one, just walk over it. You'll know you did it correctly if you start to hear dialogue from a member of The Seven.
Fortnite Week 3 Resistance Quests
Fortnite Establish Device Uplink Near Condo Canyon, Daily Bugle, or Tilted Towers
The Week 3 Resistance Quests kick off with a mission to establish a Device Uplink near Condo Canyon, Daily Bugle, or Tilted Towers. Unlike previous weeks, each of these locations features just one spot to establish a Device Uplink. In the weeks prior, there were three different Device Uplink sites at each point of interest.
A trip to Tilted Towers will reveal a Device Uplink placement point at the western entrance to the city. You'll see the Device Uplink hologram in the grass next to the highway.
Fortnite Establish Device Uplink Near Chonker's Speedway, Command Cavern, or Daily Bugle
After completing other tasks for The Seven, like how to destroy Road Barriers using the Cow Catcher or Battle Bus in Fortnite, you'll be assigned another mission to establish a Device Uplink near Chonker's Speedway, Command Cavern, or Daily Bugle.
Wander on down to the Desert Biome, more specifically, the area north of Chonker's Speedway. Next to a table and a couple of chairs is a place to establish a Device Uplink.
Fortnite Establish Device Uplink Near Camp Cuddle or The Joneses
As you progress through the Week 3 Resistance Challenges, you'll eventually get to another Device Uplink Quest. The options are more limited this time, with Camp Cuddle and The Joneses as our potential destinations.
We opted to establish our Fortnite Device Uplink at The Joneses. Travel south of The Joneses point of interest and you'll come across two ponds at the bottom of a steep hill. Between the ponds is the Device Uplink site.
Fortnite Establish Device Uplink Near Synapse Station
One of the final Quests of Week 3 requires that we establish a Device Uplink at Synapse Station, home of the Fortnite Battle Bus. After this, you'll need to learn how to use a Disguise Kit, and then place Weapon Schematics in Synapse Station in Fortnite.
The Synapse Station Device Uplink location is up on a rock west of the main Battle Bus factory facility. The spot overlooks a Reboot Van and the Synapse Station pond.
Week 2 Resistance Quests
Fortnite Establish Device Uplink Near Condo Canyon, Coney Crossroads, Or The Daily Bugle
The first Resistance Quest of Week 2 gives us the option of establishing a Device Uplink at either Condo Canyon, Coney Crossroads, or The Daily Bugle.
Since we already established Device Uplinks at Coney Crossroads and The Daily Bugle in Week 1, we decided to target Condo Canyon for this particular quest.
A Condo Canyon Device Uplink rests along the highway at the northern entrance to Condo Canyon. You'll find it just past the Imagined Order barricade and the Spillexx gas station.
Fortnite Establish Device Uplink Near A Seven Outpost
In Week 2, we have to go back and establish another Device Uplink at one of the Seven Outposts scattered around the edges of the island. We turned our attention to the Seven Outpost in the Mountains Biome north-west of Logjam Lumberyard.
The Device Uplink is up on a hilltop to the west of the Seven Outpost.
Fortnite Establish Device Uplink Near Command Cavern
Next up, we must establish a Fortnite Device Uplink at the Imagined Order's headquarters — Command Cavern. Of course, Command Cavern is the new name for Fortnite Covert Cavern from Chapter 3 Season 1.
While there are a few spots to establish a Device Uplink here, we set up ours in the snowy field just east of Command Cavern. Look for the Device Uplink location across the highway and to the east of the giant red and white antenna.
Fortnite Establish Device Uplink Near The Central Gas Station
Lastly, we must establish a final Device Uplink at the Central Gas Station. As the landmark's name suggests, the Central Gas Station is located near the centre of the island. Specifically, the Central Gas Station is east of Fortnite Tilted Towers and south of Coney Crossroads.
Look for a Device Uplink sitting out in the open grass north of the actual gas station. Approach it to establish the last Device Uplink of Week 2.
Week 1 Resistance Quests
Fortnite Establish Device Uplink Near A Seven Outpost
We may have finished all of the Rebuilding Quests, but we're still not done establishing Device Uplinks. The Week 1 Resistance Quests want us to establish even more Device Uplinks — starting with one at a Seven Outpost.
Seven Outposts serve as miniature bases for The Seven. These landmarks are spread out evenly around the outskirts of the island. Visit one and establish a Device Uplink at one of the many possible sites available.
Fortnite Establish Device Uplink Near Logjam Lumberyard, Rocky Reels, Or Tilted Towers
Churning through the Week 1 Resistance Quests, The Seven have requested that we establish another Device Uplink at Logjam Lumberyard, Rocky Reels, or Tilted Towers.
Rocky Reels was our destination of choice, as it's less crowded and busy than the other points of interest. We found a spot to set up a Device Uplink high on a cliff looking over the theatre area.
Rebuilding Quests
Fortnite Establish Device Uplink Near Condo Canyon, Coney Crossroads, or Command Cavern
The very first Rebuilding Quest tasks us with establishing a Device Uplink at either Condo Canyon, Coney Crossroads, or Command Cavern. Since we only need to establish one Device Uplink in total, we have the option to choose which of these three points of interest to do it at.
Refer to the map above to see where on the island Device Uplinks are located. In our case, we decided to establish a Device Uplink at Coney Crossroads. The Device Uplink destination is visible just outside the southern entrance to Coney Crossroads, in front of the Imagined Order barricade.

Fortnite Establish Device Uplink Near Sanctuary, Seven Outpost II, or Synapse Station
Next up, our commanding officers have instructed us to establish another Device Uplink at Sanctuary, Seven Outpost II, or Synapse Station.
We took a trip to Sanctuary and set up a Device Uplink next to a Seven tower south-west of Sanctuary. However, feel free to reference the quest map above and set up a Device Uplink at one of the many other possible locations.
Fortnite Establish Device Uplink Near Camp Cuddle, Chonker's Speedway, or The Daily Bugle
We're not done yet — after completing some more preliminary quests, we'll need to establish another Device Uplink at either Camp Cuddle, Chonker's Speedway, or The Daily Bugle.
We established our Device Uplink at the southern entrance to The Daily Bugle, directly under the IO Blimp. But, as we mentioned before, there are plenty of other sites to establish a Device Uplink at if you'd prefer to complete this challenge at one of the other points of interest.
Every Device Uplink you establish fulfils a different quest. Each quest gives a large batch of XP, so do them all to generate a ton of Fortnite Battle Stars. Furthermore, completing all of these challenges will earn you many Season Levels and progress in your battle pass.
