Sharing their shocking discovery on Reddit, user SAUbjj posted a short video that showed a ghost appearing in one of the game's wallpapers named Graveyard Wall. In the footage, the player has applied the Graveyard Wall on theirAnimal Crossing: New Horizons basement, covering all four walls of the room. As SAUbjj changes the brightness of the room's lighting, they pan the camera around the walls, and continuously spot a white figure seemingly coming closer every time they turn the lights on and off. This gives the room a creepy feeling, especially for those who have only noticed this feature for the first time.
