Rave Cave

Rave Cave is a hot drop in Season 3, but that doesn’t mean you should avoid it. This location is a theme park, and you’ll definitely find adrenaline here. You’re likely to run into enemies here, but inside Rave Cave are a number of chests, plenty of ground loot, and Slurp Barrels to pump up your Shields too.

On top of that, Ballers can be found in this location, there’s a launch pad to give you a quick getaway, and smaller caves that can provide cover from opponents and looting opportunities too.

Chonker’s Speedway

The buildings surrounding Chonker’s Speedway contain plenty of chests for you to search through, with some outbuildings to the west too that contain decent loot.

You can also hop into a sports car at the racetrack in order to get around the island quicker. These vehicles have already been fitted with off-road tires, making them ideal for driving across different terrains.

Greasy Grove

Greasy Grove is overrun with mushrooms, plants, and trees following the last Fortnite live event. Despite that, it’s still a great place to land.

With plenty of buildings, there is lots of loot available here. It also isn’t as hot a drop as places like Tilted Towers, which should help you make it out alive in the early game.

Sleepy Sound

Residential areas are always great picks for landing spots. Filled with houses and buildings which offer great cover from enemies, and plenty of loot to pick up too.

Even better, Sleepy Sound has plenty of vehicles dotted around, with both cars and boats easily available to make a getaway should the area get a little rowdy.

Pawntoon

If landing on the island just doesn’t appeal to you, then head for open waters and drop onto the Pawntoon. This moving vessel, better known as the “loot boat,” floats around the edge of the map, filled with high-quality loot and healing items.

There’s only one problem with Pawntoon, which is that it never stays in the same spot from game to game. We suggest pulling your Glider early and scouring the edges of the map for it.
