Here’s an update on the Merry Mint Pickaxe codes, also known as the Minty codes. We’ve included how you can get a code worldwide and where they’re still available.
Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ll know that the Merry Mint Pickaxe codes which some players are calling Minty codes for whatever reason, are all players can talk about at the moment.
The Merry Mint Pickaxes codes were first discovered late October, although there was no information on how to obtain them. Epic Games released a post announcing that V-Bucks cards will be available to purchase in the United States along with new official Fortnite merchandise and Minty codes with purchases.
How to get a ‘Minty’ Merry Mint Pickaxe Code
If you don’t already know how to get a code, you simply need to purchase an official Fortnite product either in store or online in select retailers in the US, UK, France and Germany. However, we’ll go on to explain how you can get a Minty code from anywhere.
US GameStop
Head into Gamestop if you’re in the United States and purchase any official Fortnite product to get a Minty code.
UK GAME
If you’re in the United Kingdom, you can either go in store and purchase a Fortnite product, or you can purchase it online at Game.co.uk. When adding a product in your basket, when checking out, you will see a Merry Mint pickaxe code in your basket for free. If it’s not there, that means you haven’t added a qualifying produced, although most of them do come with a code.
Germany GameStop
The GameStop in Germany is running the Minty code promotion online, but not in stores. Again, simply buy a qualifying product.
Worldwide
If you’re not in the countries above, you can still get a code. You can purchase something from Game.co.uk and pay an additional price for shipping. You’ll get the product you purchased and the code sent to your address, so it won’t be a code you get online. This will work if almost all countries including Canada, Australia, France, Austria, Belgium, Croatia, New Zealand, Netherlands, Spain, Sweden and more.
Fortnite Keychain
The cheapest way to get a Merry Mint (minty) pickaxe code is to purchase the Fortnite Keychains that are available. In Game for example, you can get a POP! Cuddle Team Leader Fortnite keychain for £4.99, but you’ll need to pay for shipping. You’ll see the Merry Mint Axe at £99.99, but as seen below, it’ll actually be free.
Fortnite.com/Redeem page – Where to redeem your code
To redeem your Merry Mint Axe code, head over to Fortnite.com/Redeem. Sign in to your account, go through the steps and you’ll then be able to enter your code. Once you’ve entered the code, log in to Fortnite and you’ll see the screen below. Simply click claim and you’ll get the Minty axe in your locker. It may take some time for the message below, but you’ll get it eventually.
GameStop still appear to have codes in stock, but it’ll depend on which store you go to. GAME definitely have stock both in store and online. There was no stock earlier today online, but it’s been restocked. Be sure to get make a purchase and get a code because they may not be available for too long.
