Building is gone and tactics will once again revolve solely on your firepower. Here’s everything you need to know about Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2:

Ever since its release back in 2017, Fortnite has gone through a plethora of crazy changes. Last season seemed to be the craziest change yet as we witnessed the whole battle royale island flip – but things are just about to get even crazier. Looks like Epic Games decided to go even further by taking away Fortnite’s core gameplay mechanic, building. A lot of you may find it hard to believe, but, sadly it’s true. Here’s everything you need to know about Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2.

Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1 concluded on March 19, 2022. Surprisingly, during the final moments of the season, we didn’t encounter any special live event to introduce the new season. Normally, Epic Games would hold a live countdown event to give subtle hints about what the incoming season is all about. However, we think Epic did a good job by keeping details about Season 2 a secret. Thanks to the secrecy fans are now caught off guard by the fact the building is no longer part of Fortnite.

As of the moment, Fortnite is now an all-battle and no-building type of game, at least for the meantime. The Imagined Order kicked things up a notch by disabling the ability to build in the battle royale island. Now it’s up to the players and the Resistance to get building back in Fortnite. Basically, the new “No Build” feature is only temporary and could stick around for either half or the whole season. Epic Games didn’t mention anything about when the building feature will come back to the game. For now, sweaty builders need to adapt to this new style of play in Fortnite. It’s safe to say that casual Fortnite players can now keep up with the sweaty players.

It can’t be a new season without a new battle pass. The battle pass for Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 introduces to the players the members of the Resistance. Part of the Resistance roster is a couple of Marvel characters, Doctor Strange and The Prowler. As usual, for 950 V-Bucks, the battle pass will have 10 pages for players to unlock in any order as they please. Here’s a full list of skins and styles players can unlock in the battle pass:

  • Tsuki 2.0 – Page 1
  • Gunnar – Page 2
  • Tsuki 2.0 (Shimmering Pearl) – Page 3
  • Gunnar (Arctic Tac) – Page 3
  • Gunnar (Order Helmet) – Page 3
  • The Imagined – Page 4
  • Gunnar (Ultra-Charge) – Page 4
  • Kiara K.O. – Page 5
  • Tsuki 2.0 (Iridium) – Page 6
  • The Imagined (Combat Elite) – Page 6
  • The Origin – Page 7
  • Kiara K.O. (Battle Gold) – Page 7
  • Erisa – Page 8
  • The Origin (Granite Grey) – Page 8
  • Erisa (Cerulean) – Page 9
  • Doctor Strange – Page 10

As soon as players complete the mainline reward in the battle pass, there will be bonus rewards to collect after. As of right now, the only bonus rewards that we’re aware of are the following:

  • Kiara K.O. (Combat Rebel)
  • Erisa (Silvan)
  • Gunnar (Solar Storm)
  • The Imagines (Viridian)
  • Tsuki 2.0 (Dazzling Spirit)
  • The Origin (Spacevoid Black)
  • Erisa (Cateyed)

The rest of the bonus rewards will come out as Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 progresses.

If you’re wondering where Prowler is, he won’t be available until April 21, 2022. The only 2 skins in the battle pass who are allies with the Imagined Order are Gunnar and Prowler.

Similar to Haven’s masks from last season, Tsuki 2.0 has a collection quest for players as well. Players will need to collect Omni Chips in the battle royale island to unlock different designs for the Omni Sword.

In relation to the new season, Epic Games also commenced a charity event within Fortnite. Starting today, all proceeds from any V-Bucks transactions will go to humanitarian relief for those affected in Ukraine. It’s heartwarming to know that even the world of gaming is participating in charity events for real-life disasters. The ongoing charity for Ukraine in Fortnite will only last until April 3, 2022. Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 brings to us an all-out war very similar to Marvel’s Avengers: Endgame. With the Imagined Order deploying more soldiers and The Seven calling in the Resistance, who knows what will happen to the island? We thought Season 1 was wild, but, Season 2 is more insane. We can only imagine how much more chaotic Season 3 will be in the future. For now, let’s get building back into Fortnite as Chapter 3 Season 2 has officially commenced.
