Epic Games appears to have granted fans’ wishes to bring Dragon Ball Z characters to Fortnite. The crossover has long been requested by fans for some time now and recent leaks have sent fans to wonder if the characters will be coming to battle royale games.
Epic Games and Fortnite have confirmed the rumors on Twitter with a simple image of the Dragon Shenron with a caption, “Speak. Name your wish…8.16.2022.” The image and the Tweet both reference the titular Dragon Balls and announce that the crossover will hit the game starting next week. No additional details have been revealed thus far, however, it can be expected that similar to previous crossovers, Fortnite gamers might get a chance to include Shenron and can expect bundles as well as character items and skins in the Dragon Ball theme. It is likely that characters like Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Frieza, Cell, Buu and more may be included as well.
Look out for the crossover coming to Fortnite on August 16. Take a look at the announcement below.
