Submachine Guns are powerful tools in any Call of Duty: Warzone player’s arsenal. With that being said, we’ve ranked every SMG and put together the top five for Warzone Pacific Season 4 Reloaded’s best close-range guns.
Following the Warzone Pacific Season 4 Reloaded update, Warzone’s long-range meta changed with the NZ-41 out of the picture. While the KG M40 and UGM-8 surpassed the NZ-41 following the update, the game’s close-range meta hasn’t changed too drastically, with Vanguard weapons continuing to dominate.
Having said that, there are some very strong and underrated SMGs that have climbed the ranks since the Season 4 Reloaded update, boasting incredible TTKs and versatility.
Whether you’re playing on Rebirth Island, Caldera, or Fortune’s Keep, we have all the SMGs in Warzone Pacific Season 4 Reloaded ranked and the top 5 that you should be using.

Top 5 SMGs in Warzone Pacific Season 4 Reloaded
5. Welgun
The Welgun is the king of low recoil SMG loadouts and it is one of the easiest weapons to use. Although it doesn’t have the same incredible damage-per-mag as the Amraguerra, it has everything you’d want from an SMG — solid time to kill, low recoil, and high mobility.
Truthfully, there is very little to separate the top Vanguard SMGs in Warzone and if any of the weapons below receive nerfs, then the Welgun will surely rise up this list throughout Season 4 Reloaded.
4. Type 100
The Type 100 is a Vanguard SMG that players simply cannot ignore. During Warzone Pacific Season 3 it became the fastest-killing SMG in the game, and its dominance has continued throughout Season 4 Reloaded.
Although the Type 100 is a tad unwieldy, you’ll find that you’ll win almost every close-range gunfight when it’s in your hands. Its main issues are that it has a relatively small magazine size and struggles at range, but it deserves its top five spot because of its incredible damage output.
3. Marco 5
The relatively new Marco 5 became available via the Season 4 Battle Pass and it managed to make its way onto this list immediately. It debuted in the fourth spot at the start of Season 4 and has managed to claim the third spot ahead of Season 5.
Although the Marco 5 boasts a unique Akimbo proficiency that allows players to dual wield the weapon, it is much more devastating with the ability to ADS.
2. H4 Blixen
The H4 Blixen is yet another one of the powerful SMGs that have been released as seasonal content like the Welgun, Armaguerra 43, Marco 5. The SMG competition has been fierce and the Blixen claimed the top spot for a long time.
Unfortunately, back-to-back nerfs have seen the H4 Blixen’s stock fall in Season 4 Reloaded. It used to blow the competition out of the water, but you can expect it to take a hit in Warzone popularity as well as K/D.
1. Armaguerra 43 – Best SMG in Warzone
Although Warzone’s Armaguerra 43 didn’t get much love heading into Season 4, it has now usurped the Blixen for the top spot. For starters, its versatility and ease of use are two of its main strengths.
The Armaguerra boasts an incredibly fast fire rate and low recoil, which make it perfect for all three of Warzone’s maps. In addition, its strafe speed is devastating with the right attachments.
Although these SMGs are the top five you should run in Warzone, the meta is constantly evolving and who knows what will happen when the Warzone Pacific Season 5 update shakes up the hierarchy.
