Fornite skins and cosmetics modeled after YouTuber Ali-A will join the online game's Icon Series in just a few days on Thursday, May 19.
Skins and cosmetic items inspired by popular YouTuber Ali-A will hit the Item Shop in Fortnite later this week on May 19, Epic Games has revealed. With well over 17 million YouTube subscribers, Ali-A has cemented himself as one of the go-to sources for Fortnite-related content online. As such, it hardly comes as a surprise that Epic chose to add the content creator to its growing list of collaborates for in-game Fortnite crossovers.
A wide array of pop culture characters and celebrities have appeared in the battle royale experience over the last several years. Fortnite remains the only game where Halo protagonist Master Chief can casually run past God of War's Kratos. Epic continues to add DC and Marvel characters to the mix every so often, as well. In the past, the likes of Batman, Superman, and Harley Quinn have dropped onto the Island. And just recently, players were treated to the addition of Doctor Strange and the Scarlet Witch in celebration of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness' theatrical release. Fortnite will add another interesting figure to its ever-growing roster in the near future.
An Ali-A Fortnite Icon Series set hits the Item Shop this coming May 19, according to a recent blog post from Epic Games. The Ali-A Outfit will come in Default, Elevated, Matroix, and Ultra-Armor Matroix Styles, along with Sapphire Paragon, Sapphire Paragon, Titanium Tac, and Titanium Tac Styles. Fortnite users can also expect this special Outfit to boast the Ali-Tech Backplate Back Bling, built-in Ali-Tech Plasmawings Glider, and the Ali-Tech Plasmawings alt Style. Other extras include the Ali-Tech Staff Pickaxe, Blue A Wrap for gear, and the Lil' Diplodoculus Emote. In addition, players will want to keep an eye out for the Ali-A Cup, which kicks off on May 18. Those who participate in the all-new Cup will have a chance to access the Ali-A Outfit and Ali-A Army Emoticon early.
It seems members of the Ali-A Army won't be hurting for new and exciting Fortnite content this week. And Fortnite players in general have plenty of other fresh additions to sink their teeth into, as well. Just last week, for instance, Epic Games unleashed a RoboCop-themed Outfit that Alex Murphy faithful won't soon forget.
Fortnite continues to roll out new content but users remain as eager as ever to learn about the next season. Since the Battle Pass for Chapter 3 Season 2 comes to a close in early June, reason suggests Season 3 will arrive shortly thereafter. At the time of writing, though, Epic Games has yet to confirm launch details for the next seasonal update.
