The music festivals taking place in the Midlands this summer and how to know which one is for you

Festival season is upon us! While many might be heading out of the city for Glasto, Reading, Leeds and more this summer, the Midlands has more than its fair share of ace festivals,including Wireless!

It's a bit of a cliche, but we really believe there's something for everyone in and around the city this summer. From three day, chilled-out events to single day parties, the Midlands is covering loads of genre bases in some of our very best green spaces and venues.

Here, we've listed nine that you should consider. As well as the where and when, we've shared what bands and artists to expect, as well as what genres to expect.

Mostly jazz, funk and soul, of course! But with some ska, reggae, pop, rock...
